Internships, Judicial Externships and Other Experience:
Ms. Aleksander has spent many hours in the courthouse even prior to becoming an attorney. She has engaged in volunteer work and other clinical activities relevant to the legal profession from an early age. Ms. Aleksander interned at the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office as a victim’s advocate as a college student. She also participated in an International Service Learning Program in Dangriga Belize, helping the residents of Dangriga improve their tourism, schools, and lessen crime rates. In law school, she externed for a Circuit Court Judge at the Jefferson Circuit Court. She also studied European Law in Vienna and Prague after her second year of law school. Prior to starting her own firm, Ms. Aleksander practiced in New York City for several years. After returning back to Louisville, she worked as an insurance defense attorney.


Pro Bono Activities:
Ms. Aleksander enjoys volunteering for the Legal Aid.
